Bulk Gas Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bulk Gas Engineer to work on bulk LPG and communal gas systems serving residential and commercial properties. The role will primarily involve planned maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and compliance works for housing associations, local authorities, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of bulk LPG and communal gas systems
• Working on gas meter rooms, plant rooms, and associated pipework
• Fault finding and emergency response on bulk gas installations
• Tightness testing, purging, and commissioning of gas systems
• Carrying out safety inspections and compliance checks
• Completing all relevant gas safety documentation and reports
• Liaising with site teams, managing agents, and residents where required
• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and health & safety standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Gas Safe Registered with relevant bulk and commercial categories
• Relevant ACS qualifications, such as:
  • CCN1
  • COCN1
  • CIGA1
  • CODNCO1
  • ICPN1 (as applicable)
• Proven experience working on bulk gas and communal heating systems
• Strong understanding of gas safety legislation and procedures
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience working within social housing or local authority environments
• Experience with LPG systems
• Mechanical plant or commercial heating experience
